Kibana dashboard creation

Context. The client collects logs from an IronPort appliance and needs visibility into connections, rejected or failed emails, client geolocation, and related activity.

What I did. I built five dashboards linked together through a navigation menu. Geographic maps combined with data tables provide an overview of the main connections.

Results. The client now has ready-to-use dashboards built by the consultant.

Elastic Stack upgrade from v7 to v8

Context. The client runs a full production stack on v7 and wanted to upgrade to v8 with zero downtime.

What I did. I performed an in-place rolling upgrade, following the correct service restart order.

Results. The upgrade was completed smoothly, with no service interruption.

Migration to cloud

Context. The client wanted to migrate their Elastic Stack from on-premise to the cloud.

What I did. Set up a temporary dual-write ("Y-shaped") solution, then completed the migration.

Results. Le client utilise désormais Elastic Cloud avec la même configuration de départ qu'on-premise. Aucune interruption de service, aucune perte de données.

Elastic Cloud Enterprise — Run et opérations

Context. The client runs multiple clusters on ECE (Elastic Cloud Enterprise) and needs to ensure service continuity, monitor disk and machine usage, and respond quickly to incidents.

What I did. Over a 300-day period, I monitored production, ensuring both its current and future health. I handled incidents and performed version upgrades.

Results. The service remained fully operational, and incidents were resolved with clear communication with users.
